Scene hair colors

dark styles

When it comes to Scene hair colors there really are no rules. You can be as creative as you like, but remember that the most important thing is that when your choosing your colors that you choose them for the right reasons.

Pick something that "you" like and that your comfortable with. Never and i mean never copy someone else's style just because of the attention its gets them, only copy it if it's what you really want.

As for choosing colors the easiest base hair color to work with is blonde, mainly because it shows the added color easier. If you don't have blonde hair there are still tons of options open to you.

Try to pick something that works with your hair color. There are some examples below to hopefully give you some ideas.

Blonde

Colours that work best in blonde hair are feature colors such as dyeing the bangs. A cool effect is to also use stripes, such as the picture above. Also dyeing the under layer works very well and gives you loads of options for different colors.

Black

Because black hair is so, well, dark its best to blend dark colors with it, such as purples and reds. It can often be tricky to find a good brand for lighter colors that actually stands out the way you want it to.

Brunette

Probably the easiest color to work with because you have the option of using light and dark colours here. You can really be inventive with this one.

Dyed

I know dyeing your hair is the whole point here, but when i say Dyed i mean all of your hair dyed without any of your natural color showing. This obviously gives the most choice but is also one of the hardest to pull off. There are so many colors to choose from and its important to pick colors that work with the shape of your face and skin tone.

As always the most important thing when choosing Scene hair colors is to pick something you like and just experiment until you get it right. Even if you have to practice with those super cheap temporary spray dyes just to see what it will look like.
