Is Scene a good idea?

I have friends who are goth, emo, and scene and I have always loved the scene culture. I love their hairstyle, their makeup choices, and the way they aren't afraid to wear bright stand-out colors which I have always loved but was afraid if I wore them, my goth and emo friends wouldn't like me anymore. I am one hundred percent in love with the scene way of life and really want to go scene without looking like a poser. I would be totally ready to let this culture take over my life and am just wondering how to not look like a poser and how to let my friends accept me for who I am.
