Emo isn't really a type of person, more of a state of mind. It's usually sorrowful or depressed feelings and a tendency to want to be left alone. Usually far more emotional than scene. Scene is (typically) wanting to have fun and be different in an original way. To be more on edge, not secluded like "emo".
