I look to the sky and see the dreams I've had,
what's lost and gone away,
like pictures in the sand
When the night has come and gone,
my heartache has just begun
My life,
a flame,
just another day gone away
Sadness and sorrow stain my sights,
much like the darkness of an endless night
The seas may shift,
though the fishes stay,
may we all find our way
May love be our shining star,
something to chace that's just a little too far,
something to look for something to seek,
so the darkness won't be quite as bleak
