Cyber Goth Fashion![]() So, Cyber Goth fashion huh? Where do I even begin? If you've come here looking for someone to tell you what to wear then your in the wrong place. The whole point of this entire site is to inspire you to come up with your own unique style, something that will make people notice you and I mean really notice you, and most importantly something that's "you". I'm going to go over some of the features of the Cyber Goth fashion below but its up to you to decide what would work best for your new look.
HairA lot of the time Cyber hair makes heavy use of accessories. Some of the most common things to add to your hair are dread falls, cyber lox, clips and ribbons and extensions. For a more detailed explanation of what these are check out the Cyber Goth hair page which you can find below:
cloth'sThere are many brands of Cyber cloths out there that offer a huge range of gear. Instead of sticking to one brand its always best to mix it up. Also it depends one what kind of Cyber look your after, the UK and Japanese Cyber cultures are more focused on the rave scene where as US and Australia tend to sway more towards the Rivet-head fashion, which has military influences.
bootsNew rocks are probably the most common, purely because they kick ass. You can pick up a good pair of new rocks from hundreds of retailers all over the web. The other kind of footwear for this fashion is any kind of crazy colourful footwear, such as trainers which have been done up to look rave style. accessoriesThe most noticeable accessory has to be the goggles. Why do Cyber Goth's wear goggles? Its just in the fashion is all, like Emo kids wear cute little hair clips or Goth's wear a lot of leather. Finding a good pair of goggles can be tricky and some are expensive. A good trick with making your own pair of goggles is to buy a fairly plain looking pair and do them up yourself by adding spikes and any other bits you like.
Masks are also a common addition to a set-up, I personally love masks, I think they create a sort of mysticism around the person and can create a whole new look. Apart from goggles and masks accessories in this culture can vary massively, the trick is to just be inventive.
Make upFuturistic and colourful make up patterns are were its at here. Circuit board designs and make up that strays all over the face in wild colours look amazing. The best piece of advice i can give on make up is to just experiment. Take your supplies and a couple of hours and just go crazy coming up with anything you think would work. AttitudeWhen I say attitude I don't mean turn into a complete git, I just mean that there's a particular personality trait within the Cyber scene, and this is "They don't like posers". If you like this style then go nuts, but don't just turn into a Cyber over night. You have to do it because you want to and do it gradually. Huge amounts of effort are put into some Cyber set-ups and if you just buy some rave gear and walk round calling yourself a Cyber Goth then you will be labelled a poser and create a negative atmosphere of yourself.
