As i sit in the dark

all alone with my broken heart

i had counted on you to fix it

but you made it even more broken

i had remembered what it felt like to be in your arms

before you pushed me away

and left me to be alone

we started out with love

but then you turned it into hate

you broke my heart to pieces

and now my chest aches

you left me

without a single look back

you left me

in the dark like that
